The hospitality portfolio brings together executive dining and premium accommodation designed for business travellers, delegations and long-stay guests rather than the leisure market.

Summer Palace operates as a fine-dining restaurant and executive club used for senior delegation and trade-group visits, serving Chinese cuisine in Dubai from the Hyatt Regency Hotel Deira, with a second location at Penrose Palace Hotel in JVC. For extended stays, MIE Holiday Homes offers 111 hotel apartments — 41 studios, 64 one-bedroom units and 6 two-bedroom units — with housekeeping and 24-hour security.

The Hotel Expo Kenya 2026

The Hotel Expo is MIE's hospitality and tourism exhibition for East Africa, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. It is built for the buying side of a hotel: kitchen and catering equipment, furniture and fittings, housekeeping and laundry, technology and booking systems, and food and beverage supply, alongside the operators, developers, procurement managers and investors who specify them. Kenya's hospitality sector is expanding on the back of business travel, tourism recovery and new hotel development, which is what makes the capital the right place for it. It runs in parallel with the group's food and agriculture exhibition, and it is aimed at suppliers seeking distribution across East African hotel groups and independent operators rather than single-unit sales.
